Our first blog post is here and we thought it was only fitting to tell you a bit more about Recruital and why we set up the business. To start, I wanted to tell you a bit about my experience and what inspired me to start Recruital.

I want to start with a little bit of my background. For over 20 years, I have been working in the IT industry. I started off as a project manager, then grew to do operations management and progressed to own my business. My business provided IT managed services across the retail and hospitality sector with clients such as ASDA, Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s. We fixed tills and equipment across the country with a large team of nationwide engineers. Throughout this period, I would organise and manage a team of around 160 people, some on smaller projects trying to utilise resources and others on long term projects where we had full time members of staff that would be performing maintenance in warehouse or workshop environments. During this time, having managed teams and staff, I always found recruitment a bit of a struggle. Fast forward to today, I found myself at a point in my life where I choose a different career path, and I have chosen to move into recruitment, to prove that it can be done differently and doesn’t need to be based on a high percentage starting salary.

At Recruital, we offer a fixed price subscription based recruitment service across a variety of industry sectors. Unsurprisingly, one of our main sectors is IT, as it is part of my background, as well as Insurance, Contact Centres and Trades. One of my biggest frustrations, when working in the IT industry, was that it felt as though I was being penalised for doing well and growing my business, taking on additional fees everytime we hired someone new. As well as this the customer service and relationships never felt like they matched the price I was paying for the service. I feel we can address the challenges where businesses can’t budget for recruitment and find it unaffordable. What we are trying to do is provide a service so businesses can budget their recruitment spend, for every month of the year, without surprise or hidden costs. Our business model gets rid of any unforeseen and problematic issues that can be associated with recruiting staff for your team. We all know that recruitment is not an exact art and can be hard to find the ideal candidate to fill a role. For example, in traditional recruitment agencies you could be penalised everytime you need to replace a previous wrong fit. Our simple and effective model is based on the amount of staff that work in your company. Prices start at £149 per month if you have 0-5 team members and prices gradually go up depending on the size of the business. Our aim is to give people a solution, where you can predict your recruitment spend, you know it will be affordable and you can make further business choices, based on that affordability. Our service allows you to have a full agency experience at a fraction of the cost. We have removed things such as rebate periods and refunds, as you get unlimited recruitment you can choose how you want to manage your staff risk free throughout the year. You can take people on or let people go without the fear of additional cost.
